♥Getting Started
What is I Matter Mental Health & Wellness?
I Matter Mental Health & Wellness is a psychiatric mental health practice led by Dr. Trina Singleterry, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC. We offer a welcoming, compassionate, judgment-free space where you can show up as you are and feel safe being yourself.
Who will I be seeing?
You will be cared for by Dr. Trina Singleterry, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
What does “I Matter” mean?
It is the heart of everything we do. Your feelings matter, your experiences matter, and your story deserves to be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. You can read more on our Mission Statement page.
Do I need to have everything figured out before I reach out?
Not at all. You do not have to have all the answers, pretend to be okay, or earn the right to be cared for. Reaching out is the first step, and we will meet you where you are.
♥Appointments & Telehealth
Where do you see patients?
Appointments are available in Nevada and California through secure telehealth, so you can receive care from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
How do I book an appointment?
You can call 702-773-9398 or email info@imattermentalhealth.com, or use the Book an Appointment button on this page. We will walk you through the next steps.
What do I need for a telehealth visit?
A private, comfortable space, a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection. Our team will send you everything you need before your visit.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit is a conversation. We will listen to your story, talk about what has been weighing on you, and discuss your goals. Together we will decide on a path that respects your needs, values, and goals.
♥Care & Services
What can you help with?
Dr. Singleterry provides psychiatric mental health evaluation and care for adults. Please visit our Services page for the full list, or reach out if you are unsure whether we are the right fit. We are happy to talk it through.
Can you prescribe medication?
Yes. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Dr. Singleterry can evaluate whether medication may help and manage prescriptions when it is appropriate for you. Every treatment decision is made together with you.
Is medication the only option?
No. Your care plan is built around you. Medication is one option among many, and it is only recommended when it makes sense for your needs and your goals.
Is this a crisis service?
No. We are not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
